I rarely write reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience with Remoov, especially given how far their service fell short of what they advertised. We paid a premium price of $1000 for a pick-up service, expecting a smooth and reliable process. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After the items were picked up, there was no follow-up from the company. We attempted to contact them multiple times, and while they initially responded, they had no idea where our items were. They told us they needed time to track them down, but after weeks of waiting, we were informed that everything had been recycled. This included a full drum set and two bicycles, one of which was a mountain bike, both of which clearly should not have been recycled. What was most frustrating was that all of their advertisement on their website were completely untrue. We were supposed to be informed about which items were donated, sold, or recycled, but we never received any details. There was no transparency or follow-up on where our belongings went. If I had known they would recycle everything without transparency or integrity, I would have simply gifted the items to people who could use them and had Got Junk remove the questionable stuff for a fraction of the price. The reason I went with Remoov was for the service they promised. When we pressed for more details, there was no clarity or accountability. They simply reiterated that everything was recycled, with no explanation or effort to resolve the situation. If you're willing to spend a significant amount of money and are okay with having no insight into where your belongings end up, then Remoov might be the company for you. However, if you're looking for reliability, transparency, and professionalism, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Overall, a very frustrating experience with a lack of responsibility or honesty from the company. Respond to the business, This response needs clarification for readers. The issue with your business is not that the items failed to sell. According to your advertising and the high fee charged, your responsibility was to collect my items, sort and distribute them appropriately, document them with photos or account postings, and clearly communicate what would happen to each item. None of that occurred. After pickup, there was no communication whatsoever—no updates, no photos, and no documentation. It took four weeks for me to reach someone to talk to, and seven weeks to speak with a manager. During multiple calls, no one could explain what happened to my items; instead, I was told they were “recycled,” with no proof to support that claim. After more than three months of pursuing answers, your business has now completely stopped responding. This is a clear failure of accountability and communication.
